At Boston Showdown 4: When Worlds Collide, Team WAW challenged Team Boston to a best-of-seven one night tournament, six singles matches over the course of the event followed by a huge elimination tag team main event. Both teams were hungry to claim bragging rights, one in the name of WAW and the other on behalf of Boston native Dale Broughton. Broughton’s handpicked team supported him as he defended the honour of Boston against Ricky Knight’s team of WAW faithful.

The event also featured the QWO taking on Senior Citizens in a match unrelated to the best-of-seven series.
