Which wrestler had the most successful year? That’s for the WAW fans to decide…[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Oscar Hyde

Oscar Hyde has dominated the WAW Academy since winning the Academy Championship. He also won an opportunity to face Ricky Knight Jr for the WAW World Heavyweight title in September, and engaged in a surprising feud with MC Briony Thomspon that ended with a kendo stick being broken across his back!

Brad Slayer

A long-time fan favourite, Brad controversially turned his back on the fans shortly after capturing the WAW People’s Championship – a new title designed to recognise wrestlers who have a special connection with the audience. Slayer also beat PJ Knight to win the WAW European Heavyweight title and narrowly missed out on adding the World title to his collection for a third time.

PJ Knight

A third generation member of the Knight family, PJ began the year as the WAW European Heavyweight champion before losing the title to Brad O’Brien. He soon recaptured the championship and engaged in a lengthy feud with former friend Brad Slayer. Slayer ultimately beat PJ for the European title, but PJ claimed the Sky’s the Limit contract and cashed in to ultimately win the WAW World Heavyweight Championship for the first time, denying Slayer the title in the process!

2021 was a big year for PJ, what will 2022 have in store for the reigning World champion?[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”19729″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
