[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”18520″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The official World Association of Wrestling Twitch channel launched last month (Saturday 12th June) with a live stream of the WAW Elite vs. Academy event taking place at the WAW Academy & Performance Centre in Norwich. The stream saw unexpected appearances in chat from WAW alumni and Twitch regulars, Paige and Kip Sabian.

This live stream was followed by a series of free streams showcasing a selection of WAW’s biggest and best shows, featuring all three Fightmare events, The Wrestling Weekender shows from late 2019, and WAW The Return.

It has been confirmed that all WAW and Bellatrix shows taking place at the WAW Academy & Performance Centre will be streamed on Twitch, with WAW Elite shows being restricted to subscribers only. This included the last month’s wrestling weekender featuring Bellatrix Female Warriors and the WAW Over 18s show.

More than 400 viewers have started following the channel, creating an active chat during live streams.

We’re hoping to bring more than just live wrestling content to Twitch. The platform is most well known for its video game streams, though more content has been introduced in recent years.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
