WAW Awards 2021 – Most Value for Money

WAW Awards 2021 - Most Value for Money

Every wrestling fan has a selection of favourite wrestlers, larger-than-life characters or pure athletes that make them so passionate about the sport that attending a show becomes a ‘must’.

This award celebrates the individuals that WAW fans consider the most impressive to watch at WAW events.

Ricky Knight Jr.

Any match involving RKJ is guaranteed to be a spectacle. Two of his defences as WAW World Heavyweight champion were nominated for Match of the Year, and several others almost made the cut-off. A fighting champion, RKJ defended the title against all comers and made waves across the wider British wrestling scene in 2021. We look forward to seeing what’s in store for him in 2022!

Zak Knight

A perennial favourite with WAW fans, Zak always stands up for what’s right and aims to deliver exactly what the audience want – entertainment. Zak spent the entire year as one-half of the WAW World Tag Team champions, as well as taking part in some of the most exciting, hard-hitting, and fun matches throughout the year.

Oscar Hyde

When you come to see Oscar Hyde, you aren’t just paying to see a wrestler. Hyde’s performances almost always include singing, dancing, and a guaranteed laugh, provided you aren’t the target of one of his jokes!

Hyde won the WAW Academy Championship in mid-2021, making him the self-proclaimed centrepiece of the WAW Academy and giving him even more of the spotlight that he so strongly craves.
