The platform will include over 26 years of shows across our entire history, including the first-ever WAW show from January 1994, War of ’94. You’ll get to relive the biggest moments in WAW history including Rey Mysterio’s 2017 debut, Ricky Knight Jr winning the WAW World Heavyweight Championship last year at Fightmare 3, and Ricky Knight Sr winning the WAW World Heavyweight Championship in his 2013 retirement match. Bellatrix Female Warriors will also be featured, showcasing some of the best women’s wrestling in the world.
We’ve been developing the platform for several months, making sure that it’s filled with quality content for your enjoyment. On June 17th, the service will launch with fifty to sixty shows and other footage, over 75 hours of content, ready to view from day one. Ten more shows will be added each week until our entire video library is available on the service. Our goal was to make WAW/Bellatrix OnDemand must-buy as soon as it launches, and only increase in value as time passes.
All three editions of Fightmare will be available from launch. That includes the crowning of the first-ever WAW World Heavyweight Champion at the first event in 2001, a young Britani Knight in tag team action at Fightmare 2 in 2007, and Nick Aldis defending the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship against Brad Slayer at last year’s Fightmare 3. The Wrestling Weekender shows from November 2019, featuring Mick Foley, Billy Gunn, Booker T, and more, will also be immediately available. Additional footage will include exclusive interviews with WAW stars, including interviews with Ricky and Saraya Knight available from day one. Footage like this won’t be available anywhere else.
You’ll be able to subscribe for just £6 a month, with so many hours of content to keep you occupied that more fresh content will already have been added before you can finish. Whether you’re re-living your favourite WAW and Bellatrix moments or experiencing them for the first time, we guarantee that this on-demand service will have something for you.
The WAW Online Shop will remain for physical media copies, available to ship worldwide, but WAW/Bellatrix On-Demand gives you immediate access to the WAW archives no matter where you are.
